So I just picked up a xr18 and I’m trying to figure it out. Is it possible to use multiple effects on each channel? For instance I’m testing it out and for some reason I can only get effects 1 to work with my mic. I’m ajdusting the send and returns from the other effects but only effect one is giving me any effect. For instance I’d like to use the hall reverb (effect 1) and ad a little delay (effect 3) is effects one perhaps the only effect assigned to my channel? And if so how do I combine the two if that’s even possible? Not even sure how to engage effect three at this point. Any and all help would be killer the manual is worthless.

After so many requests to release my X32 Preset Library for the X-Air series consoles, I have put these together into a downloadable package! Over the years as an audio engineer, you tend to learn certain tricks to sculpt the right sound out of an instrument or microphone. I have spent the time placing my knowledge and experience into this Behringer X-Air Presets Library Download so that you can quickly finish sound check and get to having more fun mixing!

X AIR for Android delivers comprehensive control for the X18, XR18, XR16, and XR12 mixers. The user interface is configurable for either simplified access or expert level editing (S/E), for mixing. I purchased a Behringer XR18 (rack mount/stage box version) last year and it's made my life so much easier in some respects and so much harder in others! I'm still really really new to using it. For the first few gigs (a couple of small concerts and some location recording sessions). For any of you who might be on the fence about grabbing the XR18, there is an app for the iPhone available that controls some of the functions. It is from a third party, and it's $9. Controls faders for all buses, main, aux, effects, as well as pan and mute.

These presets work for all of the Behringer X-Air consoles including:

These presets also work for the following Midas consoles:

Behringer X-Air Presets Download Documentation included!

Not only do you get a full set of 24 presets for your library, but a .PDF that includes the WHY for the settings that I applied to the channel. Often times presets will help you get the sound you are looking for, but you don’t know HOW it helped get the sound. If you don’t understand the how you won’t feel confident to tweak the preset to really sculpt the perfect sound for your mix. This is why I not only include the presets with the download but a 24 page .PDF with SO much information on why I applied the settings that I did. Presets are not an ‘end all fix all’ item, they are merely a very good starting ground for getting that golden mix you want.
